Power & dashes

Haltech ECU wiring and mapping

Haltech is Australian engine management, best known for the Elite and Nexus ECUs and the PD16 power distribution module. It is a common choice for engine swaps, big-turbo road cars and drag builds.

  • Elite and Nexus ECUs, plug-in or wire-in
  • Engine swaps and big-turbo builds
  • Haltech PD16 and CAN dashes on the same system

We supply, fit, wire and map Haltech ECUs in-house, and remap cars that already run one. ECU install and tune £700.

Who it's for

When a standalone ECU makes sense

If a remap on the standard ECU will do the job, we will tell you, and our ECU remapping page has the prices. If you need more, we plan the build with you first: the parts, the power target and the budget.

How it works

Plan, wire, map, prove

01

Plan the build

We agree the ECU, the power target, how the car will be used and the parts list before anything is ordered.

02

Build and wire

Parts fitted, looms built and the ECU installed in our workshop at Little Staughton.

03

Map on the dyno

Custom calibration on our 4WD DS450, with steady-state load holding and live datalogging.

04

Prove and hand over

You get before-and-after graphs and a run-through of everything that has been done.

Road or competition

Built for how the car is used

Road cars keep their emissions equipment. On competition cars that are never used on public roads, we recommend removing the catalytic converter as part of the build, and we offer competition DPF/OPF removal. That is for competition use only: removing a cat, DPF or OPF is illegal on a road car and it will fail an MOT.

Had some work carried out with pulse at the start of the year. Can’t fault anything that was done, spoke about everything in great detail and their workmanship is spot on. I personally wouldn’t go anywhere else now, always on the end of the phone to help with anything they can. Can’t wait to take my car back for upgrades!

Recently imported an R34 GTR from Japan and got in touch with Pulse Motorsport to carry out a full inspection and service. These guys went above and beyond... arranging transport for the vehicle, keeping me updated with progress photos and showing great attention to detail throughout. They spotted and fixed a few issues that could’ve become problematic if left unchecked. Excellent service, reasonably priced and highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
