Bolt-on parts only work properly when the map is written for them. A Stage 2 remap is a custom calibration for a car with improved breathing, such as an uprated intake, intercooler and downpipe or exhaust. With the extra airflow, we can safely run more boost, adjust fuelling and timing, and keep temperatures in check.
The result is more power across the rev range, sharper response and a car that pulls harder for longer. We never use an off-the-shelf Stage 2 file. Every car is mapped on the dyno.
A less restrictive intake helps the turbo breathe, especially at high revs.
Keeps charge temperatures down so power stays consistent, run after run.
A high-flow, catalysed downpipe or freer exhaust lets the turbo spool and flow properly.
We check clutch, gearbox and engine health. Some cars need a clutch upgrade to hold the torque.
Not sure if your car is ready? Send your parts list to us on WhatsApp at 07460 752897. If your car is standard, a Stage 1 remap is the place to start.
Fault codes, boost leaks and drivetrain checked first.
A baseline run on our Dyno Dynamics DS450 shows where the car starts.
Boost, fuelling and timing built for your hardware, with live datalogging.
After runs and a before-and-after graph you take home.
Fixed prices for most makes and models, including VAT. Big turbo, fuel system or built engine? Stage 3 is quoted per car.
inc. VAT. Standard car, custom map.
inc. VAT. For cars with supporting mods.
Big turbo, fuel and engine builds.
Want burbles or pops & bangs? We can add them to your remap as an add-on. Ask for a price when you get in touch.

Had some work carried out with pulse at the start of the year. Can’t fault anything that was done, spoke about everything in great detail and their workmanship is spot on. I personally wouldn’t go anywhere else now, always on the end of the phone to help with anything they can. Can’t wait to take my car back for upgrades!Posted on Google![]()

Recently imported an R34 GTR from Japan and got in touch with Pulse Motorsport to carry out a full inspection and service. These guys went above and beyond... arranging transport for the vehicle, keeping me updated with progress photos and showing great attention to detail throughout. They spotted and fixed a few issues that could’ve become problematic if left unchecked. Excellent service, reasonably priced and highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Posted on Google![]()

Our Stage 2 remap is £540 including VAT. It includes a health check, baseline run, a custom calibration written around your parts, datalogging and a before-and-after power graph.
It depends on the platform, but Stage 2 usually means improved breathing: a better intake, an uprated intercooler and a less restrictive downpipe or exhaust. Send us your parts list and we will tell you whether the car is ready, or what it needs.
No. On road cars we map around road-legal hardware, such as a high-flow catalysed downpipe. Removing a DPF, OPF or catalytic converter from a car used on the road is illegal in the UK and the car will fail its MOT.
Many standard clutches cope well, but some slip once torque goes up. We check the clutch and gearbox limits for your car and will tell you before the tune if an upgrade is advisable.
Stage 2 takes more dyno time. Because the hardware has changed, we spend longer refining fuelling, boost control and timing under load and checking the car is safe across the rev range.
Yes. A remap and any supporting parts are modifications and must be declared to your insurer.
Yes. Many customers start with Stage 1, then add parts and come back for Stage 2. Let us know what you plan to fit and we can help you choose parts that work together.
Yes, if your car already has the parts Stage 2 is mapped for, such as an upgraded intake, intercooler or exhaust. You don’t need to have had a Stage 1 remap first.
Yes. Remapping is legal in the UK, provided emissions equipment stays in place and working on a road car and you tell your insurer.
List your modifications and we will confirm the car is ready and book you in. We are at Little Staughton, Bedford, easy to reach from St Neots, Huntingdon, Milton Keynes and Luton.
