Road cars keep their emissions equipment. On competition cars that are never used on public roads, we recommend removing the catalytic converter as part of the build, and we offer competition DPF/OPF removal. That is for competition use only: removing a cat, DPF or OPF is illegal on a road car and it will fail an MOT.
A remap changes the software on the car’s standard ECU. Performance tuning covers bigger projects: standalone ECUs, wiring, engine and turbo upgrades, mapped as a complete build on our dyno.
Yes. We supply, fit and map standalone ECUs, including Ecumaster, with custom wiring or patch looms where they are needed.
Every build is different, so we quote once we know the car, the parts and your power target. Remaps start from £360 and a dyno power run is £70.
Yes. Tell us what has been fitted and we will check the car over on the dyno before we map it.
Yes. Our Dyno Dynamics DS450 is a 4WD dyno, so all-wheel-drive builds are mapped as they drive on the road.
Not on a road car. It is illegal on the road and will fail an MOT. We only do it on competition vehicles that are never used on public roads.
